Comfortable beds and great shower facilities.
The owner was unfriendly and dismissive when I asked for basic services, such as clean towels. The room cleaning service was non-existent during my 3-night stay, which was disappointing. The breakfast room felt cramped and could get quite noisy at night due to its location.

The Beechwood is a gem! Breakfasts are a standout, with fresh ingredients that make each bite a delight. I also loved the immaculate room that made me feel right at home. Plus, the decor? Absolute eye candy!
Sure, it doesn’t quite have the posh bells and whistles of The Dorchester, but honestly, I reckon The Beechwood nails it with its charm and value for money. Everything still shines in its own cozy way!

I had an amazing stay for 7 nights, with the family room offering incredible storage and comfort. A superb breakfast that had something for everyone. The only downside was a bit of noise from the street outside, but overall, it felt like home!

this place is so cozy and clean, the bathroom was spotless with no mildew at all! plus, rez, the owner, is super nice and really makes u feel welcome. the room had all the little stuff like tea and coffee, a fridge, and big comfy bed. breakfast was just wow, it was a full english and really filling. location is perfect, close to the beach and town centre, great for takeaways!
the only issue was that it could get a bit noisy sometimes if u have windows open. also, the shower could use a bit more pressure.

A fantastic stay with a superb location close to the beach and various restaurants. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, equipped with all the essentials, including a fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked, adding to the experience. some noise could be an issue for light sleepers, and the shower pressure was somewhat lacking at times. highly recommend and definitely planning to return.

Perfect mother-daughter getaway!
We had an awesome stay, the owner was super friendly and helped us with our bags. The full English breakfast kept us going all day, and the rooms were really comfy and spotless—even had a fridge! Just wish it was a bit closer to the town center, but other than that, it was fantastic.

We had a blast at this cozy spot! The facilities in our room were fantastic, especially with five kids in tow. The close proximity to the beach made it super easy for us to enjoy some fun outdoor activities together.
My kids wished there were more games or a play area for them to enjoy.
